Description
ABS ABT-HC-10PS Laboratory Refrigerator Premier
The ABS ABT-HC-10PS Laboratory Refrigerator Premier 10.5 Cu. Ft. Single Solid Door feature a microprocessor temperature controller and display, allowing for precise temperature control, verification and recovery versus mechanical style thermostats. An interior fan driven, forced-draft air circulation system provides excellent temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings.
Freestanding models require 4” of clearance around back and sides of the unit for proper ventilation. Improper installation will void the warranty and will lead to temperature maintenance issues, overheating and possible failure.
Environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.

Product FAQ
Why choose the solid door Premier model?
The solid door Premier series is built for maximum thermal insulation and energy efficiency. It is often preferred in laboratories where minimizing light exposure to light-sensitive samples is required, and where maintaining rigorous temperature stability is the top priority.
What are the advantages of the Premier microprocessor controller?
The microprocessor controller allows for precise temperature management, providing constant digital monitoring and faster recovery times following door openings—essential for protecting sensitive laboratory inventory.
What are the temperature capabilities?
This refrigerator is designed to maintain a stable, uniform temperature range specifically suited for clinical and lab-grade refrigeration requirements.
What kind of warranty is included?
It comes with a standard two-year parts and labor warranty, plus an additional three-year compressor parts warranty to ensure long-term, reliable operation.
Shipping FAQ
How is this solid-door lab refrigerator shipped?
Given its specialized cooling system and laboratory-grade components, this unit is shipped via dedicated LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight, secured on a pallet to ensure it arrives in optimal condition.
Do I need liftgate service?
If your facility does not have a loading dock capable of receiving an 18-wheeler truck, yes, liftgate service is required to safely lower the unit to the ground level.
What should I inspect upon arrival?
Before signing the delivery receipt, you must thoroughly inspect the exterior packaging and the unit itself for any signs of shipping damage, as the cooling system requires careful handling.
What are the post-delivery setup steps?
To prevent damage to the compressor and ensure long-term stability, you must allow the unit to sit upright in its final location for at least 24 hours to let all fluids settle before powering it on.
