Description
ABS ABT-HC-LP-69 Laboratory Refrigerator Premier
The ABS ABT-HC-LP-69 Laboratory Refrigerator Premier feature a microprocessor temperature controller and display, allowing for precise temperature control, verification and recovery versus mechanical style thermostats. An interior fan driven, forced-draft air circulation system provides excellent temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings. Critical samples and supplies are security backed with an extensive package of audible and visual alarms.
The temperature display and alarm module offers an array of robust security features with a monitoring and alarm system that is 100% independent of a microprocessor temperature controller.
Environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines

Product FAQ
What makes this unit a Premier Series laboratory refrigerator?
The Premier designation signifies that this unit is purpose-built for scientific applications, featuring advanced microprocessor-controlled temperature management for superior precision, uniformity, and recovery times compared to mechanical thermostat units.
What temperature security features are included?
The refrigerator includes a dedicated monitoring and alarm system that is 100% independent of the temperature controller. It features audible and visual high/low temperature alarms, power failure and sensor error alarms, and remote alarm contacts for integrated facility security.
What is the advantage of the large-scale sliding glass doors?
The double-pane vacuum-insulated sliding glass doors provide high visibility for massive inventory management while minimizing the aisle space required for door swings, making this model ideal for high-capacity, space-constrained laboratory environments.
What kind of warranty is included?
It comes with a standard two-year parts and labor warranty, plus an additional three-year compressor parts warranty to ensure long-term, reliable operation.
Shipping FAQ
How is this large-capacity laboratory refrigerator shipped?
Given the unit’s massive 69 cu. ft. capacity and its delicate glass-door configuration, this unit is shipped via dedicated LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight, securely crated or palletized to ensure it arrives in optimal condition.
Do I need liftgate service?
Yes, liftgate service is mandatory unless your facility has a loading dock capable of receiving a large-scale transport vehicle, as this unit must be carefully lowered to ground level.
What should I inspect upon arrival?
Before signing the delivery receipt, you must perform a comprehensive inspection of the unit, specifically focusing on the door tracks, glass seals, exterior finish, and refrigeration housing for any signs of transit-related damage.
What are the post-delivery setup steps?
To prevent damage to the compressor and ensure long-term stability, you must allow the unit to sit upright in its final location for at least 24 hours to let all fluids settle before powering it on.
