Description
ABS CRT-ABT-HC-UCBI-0404G Controlled Room Undercounter Cabinet
The ABS CRT-ABT-HC-UCBI-0404G Controlled Room Undercounter Temperature Cabinets feature a microprocessor temperature controller and display which allows for precise temperature control, verification and recovery. An interior fan driven, forced-draft air circulation system provides excellent temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings. Medications are security backed with an extensive package of audible and visual alarms.
A controlled temperature environment will ensure approved storage; preventing time wasted on unnecessary expense and product recalls.
The Built-In models are designed with a “front breathing” ventilation system, eliminating the need for clearance around the top and sides of the unit; enabling the user to incorporate these units into cabinets and other applications where free space is limited.
Environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.

Product FAQ
What are the advantages of the glass door CRT cabinet?
The glass door allows for rapid visual inventory checks without opening the door, which helps prevent unwanted temperature fluctuations within the cabinet, ensuring samples stay within the strictly controlled ambient range.
What is a Controlled Room Temperature (CRT) cabinet?
A CRT cabinet is a specialized storage solution designed to maintain a stable, ambient temperature range (typically 15°C to 25°C) for medications, chemicals, and supplies that must be kept protected from extreme environmental conditions, but do not require cold storage.
What is the primary benefit of the Premier series?
The Premier series is engineered with enhanced internal components and precision temperature controls to provide superior stability, which is essential for preserving the integrity of sensitive medical and scientific samples.
What kind of warranty is included?
It comes with a standard two-year parts and labor warranty, plus an additional five-year compressor parts warranty to ensure long-term, reliable operation in your facility.
Shipping FAQ
How is this Premier glass-door CRT cabinet shipped?
Due to the fragility of the glass door and the sensitivity of the internal electronic climate controls, this unit is shipped via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight, secured on a pallet to ensure it arrives in perfect working order.
Do I need liftgate service?
If your facility does not have a loading dock capable of receiving an 18-wheeler truck, yes, liftgate service is required to safely lower the unit to the ground level.
What should I inspect upon arrival?
Before signing the delivery receipt, you must thoroughly inspect the exterior packaging and the glass door itself for any signs of shipping impact or stress fractures, and check the unit for internal damage.
What are the post-delivery setup steps?
Position the unit in its final location and allow it to stabilize for several hours before activating the controls and verifying the temperature setpoint to ensure the environment is calibrated correctly.
