Description
ABS CRT-ABT-HC-UCFS-0504G Controlled Room Undercounter Cabinet
The ABS CRT-ABT-HC-UCFS-0504G Controlled Room Undercounter Temperature Cabinets feature a microprocessor temperature controller and display which allows for precise temperature control, verification and recovery. An interior fan driven, forced-draft air circulation system provides excellent temperature uniformity and recovery after door openings. Medications are security backed with an extensive package of audible and visual alarms.
A controlled temperature environment will ensure approved storage; preventing time wasted on unnecessary expense and product recalls.
The Freestanding models (“UCFS”) require 4” of clearance around back and sides of the unit for proper ventilation. Improper installation will void the warranty and will lead to temperature maintenance issues, overheating and possible failure.
Environmentally friendly, natural hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants (not containing hydrofluorocarbons) vastly reduce global-warming potential (GWP) while meeting new EPA/SNAP mandates and UL, ASHRAE compliance guidelines.

Product FAQ
What is a Controlled Room Temperature (CRT) cabinet?
A CRT cabinet is a specialized storage solution designed to maintain a stable, ambient temperature range (typically 15°C to 25°C) for medications, chemicals, and supplies that must be kept away from extreme conditions, but do not require cold storage.
Why is this unit important for medical storage?
Maintaining precise controlled room temperature is essential for ensuring the stability and efficacy of many pharmaceuticals and reagents that would otherwise degrade if exposed to fluctuating ambient temperatures or HVAC variations in a facility.
What are the key features of this Premier undercounter unit?
The Premier unit features enhanced electronic temperature control, digital displays, and a robust alarm system to monitor environmental conditions, all housed in a compact, durable undercounter design.
What kind of warranty is included?
It comes with a standard two-year parts and labor warranty, plus an additional five-year compressor parts warranty to ensure long-term, reliable operation in your facility.
Shipping FAQ
How is this Premier CRT unit shipped?
Due to the sensitivity of its internal electronic controls and climate-monitoring systems, this unit is shipped via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight, secured on a pallet to ensure it arrives in perfect working order.
Do I need liftgate service?
If your facility does not have a loading dock capable of receiving an 18-wheeler truck, yes, liftgate service is required to safely lower the unit to the ground level.
What should I inspect upon arrival?
Before signing the delivery receipt, you must thoroughly inspect the exterior packaging and the unit itself for any signs of shipping damage to the chassis, door, or control display.
What are the post-delivery setup steps?
After arrival, position the unit in its final location and allow it to stabilize to the facility’s ambient temperature for several hours before activating the controls and verifying the temperature setpoint.
