Summit Undercounter Medical Refrigerator Description:
The Summit FF6LWBI7PLUS2ADA Undercounter Medical Refrigerator is a commercially approved all-refrigerator sized at 32″ high and just under 24″ wide for an easy fit under lower ADA compliant counters. Made in Europe, it comes in a white exterior finish with a keyed lock located towards the top of the door for convenient security. The front-breathing system allows built-in installation, while the fully finished cabinet also enables freestanding use. A digital thermostat is located in the kickplate for easy and precise temperature management.
The unit uses automatic defrost operation and includes an internal fan for stabilized cooling. Adjustable wire shelves offer flexible storage inside the 5.5 cu.ft. interior, with door racks and an automatic light included. The FF6LWBI7PLUS2ADA includes a thermometer calibrated to NIST standards in our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory. It displays the current, minimum, and maximum temperature to the nearest tenth degree viewable in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The buffered temperature probe is stored in a glycol-filled bottle to ensure the temperature reading best reflects the temperature of other stored refrigerator contents.
The Summit FF6LWBI7PLUS2ADA Undercounter Medical Refrigerator is ETL-S listed to NSF-7 commercial standards. It can be further customized with a variety of options, including data loggers, alarms, and more. Contact our sales team for more information.
Accucold’s PLUS2 series refrigerators are intended for a wide variety of basic storage only. Storage of high-value vaccines, life science materials, medical, or clinical biologicals require a product with design features including, but not limited to tighter temperature controls, monitoring, and/or back-up.
*NOTE: This unit’s thermostat is pre-set for Celsius. If you prefer Fahrenheit, add complimentary option DTMEDF or let your sales representative know upon order.

Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Standard shipping lead time is approximately 3–5 business days when in stock.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is possible. For delivery to Melbourne, Australia consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance and GST.
• Site access: ensure the pathway/doorway/elevator accommodates ~60 cm width × ~60 cm depth and allows ~117 cm front clearance for full door opening.
• Electrical compatibility: This unit is rated at 115 V AC / 60 Hz (U.S. version) — for Australia (230 V / 50 Hz) you must order the correct export variant or use a certified step-down transformer installed by a licensed electrician.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
The unit ships boxed/palletized; unpacked footprint approx ~81 cm H × ~60 cm W × ~60 cm D; allow front clearance ~117 cm for door opening. Delivery area must be level, firm and clear from vehicle to installation.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or delayed?
Upon delivery inspect the outer packaging and unit for visible damage. Photograph any damage, retain packaging and delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with your order/tracking details to initiate a freight claim or arrange replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the FF6LWBI7PLUS2ADA?
1. Position the unit under-counter or on a firm, level surface in a climate-controlled room; allow rear/top clearance and ~117 cm clear in front for full door swing.
2. Connect to a dedicated grounded outlet that matches your region’s voltage.
3. Power the unit and allow approximately 2–4 hours for internal temperatures to stabilize before loading contents.
What best practices should I follow when using this refrigerator?
• Load items on the adjustable wire shelves, spacing items for proper airflow; avoid over-packing.
• Use the external temperature display (current/high-low) for monitoring rather than frequent door openings.
• Label stored items (batch number/date/time) and apply first-in/first-out (FIFO) rotation when appropriate.
• Regularly inspect door gasket/seal, hinges and lock mechanism; ensure the unit remains level and keep the interior clean.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
• Record the event: date/time, observed temperature deviation, and impacted contents.
• Relocate critical contents to validated backup refrigeration until stable conditions return.
• Investigate the root cause (door left open, increased ambient load, power or sensor fault).
• Once the unit returns to stable operation within the specified +2 °C to +8 °C range, verify contents for integrity before resuming use.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Check door gasket/seal integrity, hinges/lock operation, and verify unit remains level.
• Quarterly: Clean interior and exterior surfaces; verify fan operation, door seal performance, and digital display/thermometer functionality (if installed).
• Periodically: Review any temperature data logs (if used), confirm calibration of monitoring equipment, and maintain documented service/maintenance records for audit-compliance.
