Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical lead time is approximately 3–5 business days when the unit is in stock.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is available. For delivery to Melbourne, Australia:
• Import duties, customs clearance and GST apply
• Ensure site access: doorways or freight elevators can accommodate approx. 60 cm width × 60 cm depth and allow front clearance of ~117 cm for full door swing
• Electrical compatibility: The standard model is rated for 115 V AC / 60 Hz — for Australia (230 V / 50 Hz) order the correct export variant or use a certified step-down transformer installed by a licensed electrician
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
The unit ships boxed and palletized; unpacked footprint approx. 85 cm H × 60 cm W × 60 cm D; door-open depth approx. 117 cm. Delivery path must be level, firm and clear of obstructions from vehicle to installation location.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or delayed?
On delivery inspect the packaging and unit for visible damage. Photograph any damage, retain the packaging and delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with your order/tracking details to initiate a freight claim or arrange replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the VT65MLMED?
1. Position the unit on a firm, level indoor surface or under-counter space in a climate-controlled room; allow adequate clearance behind/top and approx. 117 cm front for full door swing.
2. Connect the unit to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the variant’s voltage.
3. Power on the unit, set the digital thermostat to the target of around –25 °C, and allow approximately 4–6 hours for internal temperature stabilization before loading sensitive contents.
What best practices should I follow when using this freezer?
• Arrange stored items with appropriate spacing in the pull-out drawers for proper airflow; avoid over-packing.
• Label items with batch number and date/time; apply first-in, first-out rotation when applicable.
• Minimize door-open events to maintain stable internal chilling.
• Regularly inspect door gasket/seal, hinges/lock mechanism, and ensure the unit remains level and the interior is clean.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If internal temperature rises above or falls below the target range or a power interruption occurs:
• Record date/time, observed temperature deviation and any impacted contents.
• Transfer critical items to validated backup freezer storage until stable conditions are restored.
• Investigate root cause (door left open, ambient load spike, power/sensor fault).
• Once internal conditions stabilize within acceptable range, inspect stored items for integrity before returning to standard use.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Inspect door gasket/seal, hinges, and lock; confirm unit remains level.
• Quarterly: Clean interior and exterior surfaces; verify alarm/monitor functions.
• Periodically: Review any temperature logs (if monitoring in use), confirm calibration of monitoring equipment, and maintain documented service/maintenance records for audit-compliance.
