Summit Vaccine Built-In Healthcare Refrigerator Description:
EQTemp by Accucold introduces a new series of affordable, specialty refrigeration solutions for healthcare facilities seeking specialized cold storage.
Summit ACR51W Vaccine Built-In Healthcare Refrigerator is an upright 3.88 cu.ft. all-refrigerator. It features a clean white exterior and a blue-accented control panel. The solid door is equipped with a self-closing mechanism to help protect stored items from being overexposed to room temperature. A factory-installed lock offers added security, and the hospital-grade cord with a ‘green dot’ plug ensures a secure connection for high-traffic areas. This unit features a front-breathing design for safe built-in installation under counters. The fully finished cabinet also allows freestanding use.
The Summit ACR51W Vaccine Built-In Healthcare Refrigerator includes an external readout of the interior temperature and the high/low temperature. The buffered temperature probe is encased in a bottle filled with glass beads for improved accuracy. The digital temperature controls allow you to set the interior between 2 and 8ºC. An audible alarm sounds if the temperature goes out of range. We also include a pre-installed 3/8″ access port for users to add their own monitoring equipment if preferred.
The interior includes one wire shelf in the center to hold the temperature probe, as well as two additional adjustable shelves to accommodate different sizes. Internal LED lighting provides an efficient and convenient view. Automatic defrost reduces user maintenance, and an internal fan ensures robust temperature recovery after door openings.
This unit is also available certified to the NSF/ANSI 456 Vaccine Storage Standard with the upgrade of a NIST calibrated temperature readout (see model ACR51WNSF456). Additional sizes are available, as well as more advanced cold storage equipment purpose-built for laboratory and life science storage. Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical processing for this model is 2-3 business days (stock dependent); full delivery time varies based on destination and carrier scheduling.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider?
Yes — international shipping may be possible. For shipments to Australia (Melbourne) or other regions, factors to consider include import duties/customs, compatibility with local voltage/plug standard (unit rated at 115 V AC/60 Hz by default), and ensuring adequate freight access and delivery site clearance.
How is the unit packaged for transit and delivery?
The unit ships boxed or palletized with protective packaging. With approximate dimensions ~86 cm H × 60 cm W × 55 cm D and weight ~42 kg, ensure the receiving site has sufficient access, clearance and a level surface.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or is delayed?
If the unit arrives with visible damage, or delivery is significantly delayed, document the condition (including photos if possible), save the packaging and delivery receipt, and contact the supplier with order/tracking details to initiate a claim or replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the ACR51W for use?
Place the refrigerator on a firm, level surface or install as a built-in under a counter following front-ventilation clearance requirements. Plug into a dedicated grounded 115 V AC/60 Hz outlet (or local equivalent). Set the thermostat to target (approx +5 °C), allow the interior chamber to stabilize before loading vaccines or sensitive liquids, and then verify alarm and lock functionality.
What best practices should I follow when storing items?
Use the internal adjustable shelving to organize contents without blocking airflow; avoid over-packing; minimize door-opening duration; label stored items clearly for traceability; inspect gasket/seal integrity periodically; maintain temperature and alarm-event logs if required for compliance.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If internal temperature moves outside of the recommended +2 °C to +8 °C range or a power interruption occurs, record the event including time, temperature reading and contents affected; relocate critical items to backup storage if necessary; identify root cause (door left open, power supply fault, sensor error); once resolved, reset controls and monitor until stable before returning items.
Are there maintenance or verification routines recommended?
Recommended routines: monthly inspection of door gaskets/seals and handle; quarterly cleaning of condenser and ventilation pathways; periodic testing of alarms, remote contacts and probe ports; calibration checks if using external monitoring; maintain service logs for audit readiness.
