Accucold’s Performance Summit AULT50PS 1.8 Cu.Ft. -86ºC Ultra Low Upright Freezer are purpose-built for the long-term storage and reliable protection of high value, temperature-sensitive products and biological materials.
Model AULT50PS is a counter height ultra low temperature freezer designed for laboratories, life science and pharmaceutical research facilities, and other institutional settings. This upright unit can operate between -86º and -40ºC and has been tested to maintain temperature within 3ºC of the set point. The interior features an insulated inner door for an added layer of protection from ambient air. VIP vacuum insulation ensures a stable performance, with accelerated temperature pulldown to reach the set point in 185 minutes and recover from door openings quickly.
This unit includes an advanced microprocessor digital control panel for easy temperature management and monitoring. Temperature readings can be logged to a USB device, recording every 5 minutes and saving data for up to 10 years. Audible and visual alarms alert the user of interior or ambient temperature swings, open door warnings, various equipment sensor alerts, and power outages. An access port is located in the side wall to accept additional monitoring equipment if needed.
The AULT50PS offers 1.8 cu.ft. of storage. The stainless steel interior includes an adjustable steel shelf. We also offer this unit with two sets of 2″ freezer racks (see model AULT50PSR12). The interior can hold up to 36 2″ freezer boxes, or 24 3″ freezer boxes using two standard racks (not provided).
This freezer includes a NEMA 5-15P plug for 115V outlets. It features four pre-installed casters (two locking) for easy portability as needed. The side-mounted ergonomic handle includes a keyed lock and can accommodate a padlock if added security is preferred.
Accucold’s ultra low temperature freezer line includes larger capacity models. These models are UL-listed for both the US and Canada and come with an extended 12-year compressor and 5-year parts & labor warranty.
