Product FAQ
What is the BKRF661 and what is it used for?
The BKRF661 is a 5.1 cu ft (~144 L) counter-height break-room refrigerator-freezer combination unit designed for office, clinic or staff-area use. It features a compact 24″ (~61 cm) width and includes separate refrigeration and freezer compartments.
What are the key technical specifications?
• Storage capacity: 5.1 cu ft (~144 L).
• External dimensions: ~83 cm H (~32.7″) × ~60 cm W (~23.6″) × ~58 cm D (~22.8″); door-open depth ~115 cm (~45.4″) with door at 90°.
• Cooling system: Dual-evaporator design (separate fridge and freezer sections), fridge auto-defrost, freezer manual-defrost.
• Monitoring: Factory-installed NIST-calibrated thermometer read-out for internal high/low temperatures, audible alarm if threshold exceeded.
• Installation: Fully finished cabinet, reversible door for flexible placement.
• Power: 115 V AC / 60 Hz standard for U.S. version.
What safety and security features are included?
Features include:
– External thermometer display with high/low readings and alarm enablement for shared environments.

Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Estimated shipping lead time is approximately 5–7 days when unit is in stock and ready for dispatch.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is available. For delivery to Melbourne, Australia consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance and GST.
• Site access: check if doorways, elevators, or corridors accommodate ~60 cm width × ~58 cm depth and allow ~115 cm front clearance for door swing.
• Electrical compatibility: U.S. version is rated at 115 V AC / 60 Hz — for Australia (230 V / 50 Hz), order correct export variant or use certified transformer/adapter installed by a licensed electrician.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
Ships boxed/palletized; unpacked footprint approx ~83 cm H × ~60 cm W × ~58 cm D; allow full door-open clearance (~115 cm). Delivery site should be level, firm, and free of debris from vehicle to install location.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or delayed?
Upon delivery inspect outer packaging and unit for visible damage. Photograph any damage, keep the packaging and the delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with your order/tracking details to initiate a freight claim or arrange replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the BKRF661?
1. Place the unit upright on a firm, level indoor surface (freestanding) or integrated under-counter installation; allow ventilation clearance at sides/rear/top and ~115 cm clearance in front for door opening.
2. Connect to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the unit’s rated supply voltage.
3. Power on and allow the unit to run empty for ~2–4 hours until internal temperatures stabilize, then load with contents.
What best practices should I follow when using this refrigerator-freezer?
• Arrange items for proper airflow in both fridge and freezer compartments; avoid over-packing.
• Utilize the external thermometer display and alarm for temperature monitoring instead of frequent door-opening.
• Label common items (for shared use) and maintain good practice to keep door seals clean and fully closed.
• Inspect seals, hinges, and overall level placement regularly; ensure the unit remains stable.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
• Record the event with date/time, observed temperature, and impacted items.
• If available, relocate critical contents to validated backup storage until condition stabilizes.
• Investigate the underlying cause (door ajar, ambient heat increase, power outage, sensor failure).
• Once internal conditions are back to acceptable range, verify stored items for integrity before returning to normal storage.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Inspect door gasket, hinges, lock and ensure unit remains level.
• Quarterly: Clean interior and exterior, verify airflow venting, and test thermometer/alarm functionality.
• Periodically: Document high/low temperature logs (if available), validate any calibration records, and maintain maintenance/ service logs for shared-use facility compliance.
