Summit Undercounter Medical Refrigerator Description:
The Summit FF6LWPLUS2ADA Undercounter Medical Refrigerator is freestanding all-refrigerator sized at 32″ high and just under 24″ wide for an easy fit in ADA compliant settings. Made in Europe, it comes in a white exterior finish with a keyed lock located towards the top of the door for convenient security. A digital thermostat is located in the kickplate for easy and precise temperature management.
The unit uses automatic defrost operation and includes an internal fan for stabilized cooling. Adjustable wire shelves offer flexible storage inside the 5.5 cu.ft. interior, with door racks and an automatic light included. The FF6LWPLUS2ADA includes a thermometer calibrated to NIST standards in our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory. It displays the current, minimum, and maximum temperature to the nearest tenth degree viewable in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The buffered temperature probe is stored in a glycol-filled bottle to ensure the temperature reading best reflects the temperature of other stored refrigerator contents.
The Summit FF6LWPLUS2ADA Undercounter Medical Refrigerator can be further customized with a variety of options, including data loggers, alarms, and more. Contact our sales team for more information.
Accucold’s PLUS2 series refrigerators are intended for a wide variety of basic storage only. Storage of high-value vaccines, life science materials, medical, or clinical biologicals require a product with design features including, but not limited to tighter temperature controls, monitoring, and/or back-up.
*NOTE: This unit’s thermostat is pre-set for Celsius. If you prefer Fahrenheit, add complimentary option DTMEDF or let your sales representative know upon order.

Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical lead time is 3–5 business days when the unit is in stock.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is available. For delivery to Melbourne, Australia you should consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance, and GST.
• Site access: confirm doorways and corridors can accommodate approx. 60 cm width × 60 cm depth and allow front clearance of ~117 cm for full door opening.
• Electrical compatibility: The standard model is rated at 115 V AC / 60 Hz; for Australian use (230 V / 50 Hz) you must order the correct export variant or use a certified step-down transformer installed by a licensed electrician.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
The unit ships boxed and palletized; unpacked footprint approx. 81 cm H × 60 cm W × 60 cm D; door-open depth ~117 cm. Ensure a level, firm, clear pathway from delivery vehicle to the installation site.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or delayed?
On delivery, inspect the outer packaging and unit for visible damage. Photograph any damage, retain packaging and delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with order and tracking details to start a freight claim or arrange replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the FF6LWPLUS2ADA?
1. Place the unit under-counter or on a firm, level indoor surface in a climate-controlled area; allow approximately 117 cm front clearance for the door opening.
2. Connect the unit to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the voltage rating.
3. Power on, set the digital thermostat to +2 °C to +8 °C, and allow 3–4 hours for the interior to stabilize before loading temperature-sensitive contents.
What best practices should I follow when using this refrigerator?
• Arrange stored items with spacing on the shelves to maintain airflow; avoid over-packing.
• Label stored items with batch number and date/time; adopt first-in/first-out (FIFO) rotation where applicable.
• Minimize door-open duration and monitor temperatures via the external display and alarm rather than frequent internal access.
• Regularly inspect gaskets, hinges and locks; ensure the unit remains level, and clean interior surfaces frequently.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If the internal temperature rises above or falls below the target +2 °C to +8 °C range or a power interruption occurs:
• Record the event: date/time, observed deviation and impacted contents.
• Transfer critical items to validated backup refrigeration until conditions stabilize.
• Investigate root cause (door left open, ambient load surge, power or sensor fault).
• Once temperature stabilization returns, inspect contents for integrity before normal use resumes.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Inspect door gasket/seal, hinges/lock; confirm the unit is still level.
• Quarterly: Clean interior/exterior surfaces; verify thermostat, alarm, and monitoring port functionality.
• Periodically: Review any temperature logs (if monitoring installed), confirm calibration of monitoring/probe devices, and preserve documented maintenance/service records for compliance.
