Summit Undercounter Medical Refrigerator Description:
The Summit FF6LWPLUS2 Undercounter Medical Refrigerator is freestanding all-refrigerator sized at just under 24″ wide. Made in Europe, it comes in a white exterior finish with a keyed lock located towards the top of the door for convenient security. A digital thermostat is located in the kickplate for easy and precise temperature management.
The unit uses automatic defrost operation and includes an internal fan for stabilized cooling. Adjustable wire shelves offer flexible storage inside the 5.5 cu.ft. interior, with door racks and an automatic light included. The FF6LWPLUS2 includes a thermometer calibrated to NIST standards in our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory. It displays the current, minimum, and maximum temperature to the nearest tenth degree viewable in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The buffered temperature probe is stored in a glycol-filled bottle to ensure the temperature reading best reflects the temperature of other stored refrigerator contents.
The Summit FF6LWPLUS2 Undercounter Medical Refrigerator can be further customized with a variety of options, including data loggers, alarms, and more. Contact our sales team for more information.
Accucold’s PLUS2 series refrigerators are intended for a wide variety of basic storage only. Storage of high-value vaccines, life science materials, medical, or clinical biologicals require a product with design features including, but not limited to tighter temperature controls, monitoring, and/or back-up.
*NOTE: This unit’s thermostat is pre-set for Celsius. If you prefer Fahrenheit, add complimentary option DTMEDF or let your sales representative know upon order.

Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical lead time is 3–5 business days when the unit is in stock.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is available. For Melbourne, Australia, consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance, and GST.
• Site access: ensure doorways/elevators can accommodate approx. 60 cm width × 60 cm depth and at least 117 cm for full door opening.
• Electrical compatibility: The U.S. model runs on 115 V / 60 Hz; for Australia (230 V / 50 Hz), order the appropriate export version or use a certified transformer installed by a licensed electrician.

Inspect packaging and unit for visible damage upon delivery. Take photos, retain packaging and paperwork, and contact your supplier immediately with order details to initiate a freight claim or replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the FF6LWPLUS2?
1. Place the unit on a firm, level surface in a climate-controlled room.
2. Allow clearance behind, above, and at least 117 cm in front for the door to open fully.
3. Plug into a grounded outlet matching the specified voltage.
4. Power on, set the thermostat between +2 °C and +8 °C, and allow 3–4 hours for the temperature to stabilize before loading materials.
What best practices should I follow when using this refrigerator?
• Store materials with adequate airflow between shelves; do not overfill.
• Label and rotate inventory using a first-in/first-out (FIFO) system.
• Limit door openings and monitor temperature from the external display.
• Regularly inspect and clean the gasket, hinges, and lock; keep the unit level.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If temperatures move outside +2 °C to +8 °C or power is lost:
• Document the time, temperature deviation, and affected materials.
• Move sensitive contents to backup refrigeration.
• Identify and resolve the cause (e.g., open door, ambient heat, power fault).
• Confirm stability before reloading contents.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Inspect gaskets, hinges, and levelling.
• Quarterly: Clean interior/exterior surfaces; test alarms and thermostat function.
• Periodically: Review temperature logs, verify calibration certificates, and record maintenance for compliance.
