Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Standard lead time is approximately 5-7 business days when the unit is in stock and ready for dispatch.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — for delivery to Melbourne consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance and GST.
• Site access: ensure doorways, corridors or lifts can accommodate ~43 cm width × ~48 cm depth and allow ~88 cm front clearance for door-open.
• Electrical compatibility: The U.S. version is 115 V AC / 60 Hz — for Australia (230 V / 50 Hz) order the correct export variant or use a certified step-down transformer installed by a licensed electrician.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
Ships boxed and palletized; unpacked footprint ~51 cm H × ~43 cm W × ~48 cm D; allow front clearance ~88 cm for door opening. Delivery area must be level, firm and clear of obstructions from vehicle to install site.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or delayed?
Upon delivery inspect the outer packaging and unit for visible damage. Photograph any damage, retain packaging and delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with order/tracking details to initiate a freight claim or arrange replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the SCR215LNZ?
1. Position the unit upright on a firm, level indoor surface in a climate-controlled environment; allow clearance behind, above and approx 88 cm front for door opening.
2. Connect to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the ordered voltage.
3. Power on and allow unit to run empty for a few hours until internal temperature stabilizes before loading items.
What best practices should I follow when using this refrigerator?
• Arrange sealed items and allow good airflow; avoid over-packing.
• Use the external thermometer/alarm for monitoring rather than frequent door openings.
• Label items where required and rotate stock (FIFO) if applicable.
• Inspect door gasket/seal, hinges and lock routinely; keep unit level and interior clean.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If internal temperature deviates outside safe range or a power interruption occurs:
• Record date/time, observed temperature, and impacted items.
• Move critical items to validated backup storage until conditions stabilize.
• Investigate possible cause (door left ajar, high ambient heat-load, power or sensor fault).
• Once internal conditions return to acceptable range, verify items for integrity before resuming normal storage.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Check door gasket/seal, hinges and lock; ensure unit remains level.
• Quarterly: Clean interior/exterior surfaces; verify ventilation, thermometer/alarm functionality.
• Periodically: Review temperature logs (if applicable), verify calibration certificate(s) and keep maintenance/service records.
