Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical dispatch for the base model is “next-day shipping” in U.S. regions when in stock. Actual transit time varies based on destination and carrier.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international freight can be arranged. For Melbourne, Australia:
• Import duties, customs clearance & Goods & Services Tax (GST)
• Site access & clearance: doorway width, corridor/elevator access, floor-loading capacity
• Electrical/mains compatibility: the model is rated at 115 V AC/60 Hz (US spec) — check if a 230 V/50 Hz variant or step-down transformer is required.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
The unit ships palletized and boxed with protective packaging. Approx. unpacked dimensions align with cabinet size (~80 cm H × ~50 cm W × ~63 cm D); allow door-open depth ~104 cm (~41″) to ensure clearance. Delivery site should have a firm, level surface, sufficient entry/door-swing clearance and handling equipment (pallet jack / lift) if needed.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or is delayed?
On delivery, inspect for visible damage or signs of delay. If damage is found: photograph condition, retain packaging and delivery documentation, then contact your supplier with order/tracking details to initiate a claim or replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the ACR45LSTO?
1. Place the unit on a firm, level surface in a climate-controlled room or install under a countertop in an under-counter bay with clearances behind, sides and top for ventilation; ensure door can swing fully (~104 cm depth).
2. Connect to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the unit’s specification (115 V AC/60 Hz). For Australian use, verify plug type and ensure compatibility or a suitable transformer.
3. Power on the unit; set target temperature within the +2 °C to +8 °C range. Allow 3-4 hours minimum for internal stabilization before loading vaccines or temperature-sensitive materials.
4. Confirm controller/display is working, alarms (high/low temp, door-open, power fault) respond, the probe port is accessible and the lock mechanism is functional before routine use.
What best practices should I follow when storing vaccines or medications?
• Use all adjustable wire shelves; avoid over-packing or blocking airflow so that air can circulate freely and maintain uniform internal temperature.
• Clearly label each item with date/time, batch or user ID for traceability.
• Minimize door openings and the duration the door remains open — store frequently accessed items near the front to reduce ambient intrusion.
• Regularly inspect the door gasket/seal, hinges and lock mechanism; maintain logs of internal minimum/maximum temperature and any alarm events if required by your facility protocol.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If internal temperature rises above or falls below the safe range (+2 °C to +8 °C), or if a power interruption occurs:
• Record the event: date/time, observed temperature and impacted contents.
• Immediately relocate critical items to a validated backup refrigeration system until the unit stabilizes.
• Identify and correct the root cause (door left open, ambient heat load, sensor/power fault).
• Once the unit returns to normal operation and the internal temperature stabilizes within range, verify readings before returning contents.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Inspect door gasket/seal, hinges and lock mechanism for wear or damage.
• Quarterly: Clean condenser coils and ventilation pathways; check fan/airflow to ensure no dust or obstruction.
• Periodically: Test audible/visual alarms, external probe port and remote alarm contacts (if present); calibrate sensors if required. Maintain service/calibration logs, internal temperature logs and alarm-event history to support regulatory or audit readiness.
