Product FAQ
What is the ACR82L and what is it used for?
The ACR82L is a slim-footprint 21″-wide all-refrigerator designed for general-purpose medical, laboratory and healthcare cold-storage applications (e.g., medications, specimen storage), with a controlled temperature range of **+2 °C to +8 °C**.
What are the key technical specifications?
• Capacity: 7.56 cu ft (~214 L)
• External dimensions: Height ~60.9″ (~155 cm) × Width ~21.0″ (~53 cm) × Depth ~21.9″ (~55.6 cm); door-open depth ~41.5″ (~105 cm).
• Temperature control range: +2 °C to +8 °C (preset to +5 °C).
• Electrical: 115 V AC/60 Hz; Amps ~2.5; Weight ~170 lbs (~77 kg) shipping weight ~240 lbs (~109 kg).
What safety and monitoring features are included?
Features include fan-forced interior cooling for fast recovery and even temperature distribution; automatic defrost; audible high/low temperature alarms; self-closing door to protect contents in busy facility settings.
Which environments is this unit best suited for?
Ideal for medical labs, pharmacy ancillary rooms, clinical environments and other healthcare settings that require reliable +2 °C to +8 °C refrigeration in a space-efficient footprint. Not intended for typical domestic food/beverage use.

Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical dispatch lead time depends on stock availability but is generally 3-7 business days for standard U.S. delivery; actual transit time depends on destination and carrier.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping can be arranged. For delivery to Melbourne, Australia consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance & Goods & Services Tax (GST)
• Site access & clearance: check door width, corridor/elevator access and floor-loading capacity
• Electrical compatibility: this unit is rated 115 V AC/60 Hz (US version). If installing in Australia (230 V/50 Hz) you may need a compatible variant or transformer.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
The unit ships palletized and boxed with protective packaging. Approx. unpacked footprint: ~155 cm H × ~53 cm W × ~56 cm D; door-open clearance ~105 cm. Ensure your delivery site has a firm, level surface, sufficient entry and door-swing clearance, and handling equipment (pallet jack or lift) if necessary.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or is delayed?
On delivery, inspect the packaging and unit for visible damage or delayed transit. If damage is found: photograph the condition, retain the packaging and delivery receipt, then contact your supplier with your order/tracking details to initiate a claim or replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the ACR82L?
1. Place the unit on a firm, level surface in a temperature-controlled room; allow clearance behind, sides and above for ventilation; ensure door can fully open (~105 cm).
2. Connect to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the unit’s specification (115 V AC/60 Hz). If installing in Melbourne, Australia, verify correct variant or transformer for local supply.
3. Plug in the unit, power it on and allow several hours (typically 3-4 h) for the internal temperature to stabilize before loading temperature-sensitive contents.
4. Verify the digital control panel/display is functioning, audible/visual alarms respond (high/low temp, door-open), and the door seal and hinges are working correctly.
What best practices should I follow when storing medical or lab materials?
• Use the adjustable shelving; avoid over-packing or blocking airflow to maintain uniform internal temperature.
• Clearly label stored items with date/time, batch or user ID to support traceability.
• Minimize door openings and reduce time the door remains open — store frequently accessed items near the front to reduce ambient intrusion.
• Regularly inspect door gasket/seal, hinges, lock (if fitted); maintain logs of internal minimum/maximum temperature and any alarm events if required by your facility’s protocol.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If the interior temperature rises above or falls below the safe range (+2 °C to +8 °C), or a power interruption occurs:
• Record the event: date/time, observed temperature and impacted contents.
• Immediately relocate critical materials to validated backup refrigeration until conditions stabilize.
• Investigate the root cause (door left open, ambient heat load, sensor/power fault).
• Once the unit returns to stable operation and internal temperature is within range, verify readings before returning stored items.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Inspect door gasket/seal, hinges and door/handle mechanism for wear or damage.
• Quarterly: Clean condenser coils and ventilation pathways; ensure the fan and airflow are unobstructed and free of dust or blockage.
• Periodically: Test audible/visual alarms, external probe port (if present) and any remote alarm contacts; calibrate sensors if required. Maintain service/calibration logs, internal temperature logs and alarm-event history for audit readiness.
