• Defrost type: Manual.
• Temperature capability: Approximately -20 °C (low temperature design).
• Door: Solid door (standard white) with factory-installed keyed lock and access port for monitoring equipment.
• Shelves / interior: Wire shelves or removable drawers depending on configuration; one-piece interior liner for easy cleaning.

What safety and security features are included?
Features include:
– Factory-installed keyed lock for restricted access.
– Access port for user-provided monitoring equipment (probe hole) helping in regulated environments.
– Manual-defrost static cooling system for improved temperature stability.
– Flat door liner and seamless interior recommended by CDC/VFC/others for more stable temperature performance.
Which environments is this unit best suited for?
Ideal for clinic labs, medical sample storage, pharmaceutical or life-science facilities requiring compact freezer storage at approximately -20 °C in limited space (e.g., countertop or under-cabinet). Not intended for ultra-low (≤ -80 °C) or high capacity cold-storage applications without further validation.
Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Estimated shipping lead time is 3-5 business days when the unit is in stock and ready for dispatch.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is available. For delivery to Melbourne, Australia, consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance and GST.
• Site access: ensure delivery path (doorways, elevator, corridors) can accommodate ~47 cm width × ~45 cm depth and allow ~88 cm front clearance for door-open.
• Electrical compatibility: This model is rated at 115 V AC / 60 Hz (U.S. version) — for Australia (230 V / 50 Hz) you must order the correct export variant or use a certified stepdown transformer installed by a licensed electrician.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
Ships boxed and palletized; unpacked footprint approx ~62 cm H × ~47 cm W × ~45 cm D; door-open depth ~88 cm. The delivery area must be level, firm, and clear from vehicle to installation site.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or delayed?
Upon delivery inspect outer packaging and unit for visible damage. Photograph any damage, retain packaging and delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with your order/tracking details to initiate a freight claim or arrange replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the FS30LPRO?
1. Place the unit upright on a firm, level indoor surface in a climate-controlled environment; allow adequate clearance behind and above, plus approximately ~88 cm front clearance for full door opening.
2. Connect to a dedicated grounded outlet matching the model’s voltage specification.
3. Power on the unit, set the interior thermostat to the required temperature (capable to approx -20 °C), and allow several hours for internal temperature to stabilize before loading sensitive contents.
What best practices should I follow when using this freezer?
• Load items on the interior drawers or shelves with space for airflow; avoid over-packing which may affect uniform cooling.
• Label stored items (batch number/date/time) and rotate stock if required by your facility’s protocol.
• Minimize door-open duration; use the external display or monitoring probe if available rather than frequent access.
• Inspect door gasket/seal, hinges/lock, and maintain level placement; regularly clean interior surfaces.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If the internal temperature rises above or falls below the safe target or a power interruption occurs:
• Record date/time, observed temperature, and impacted contents.
• Relocate critical materials to validated backup storage until conditions stabilize.
• Investigate root cause (for example door left open, ambient heat load, power or sensor fault).
• Once temperature is within acceptable limits and stable, inspect contents for integrity before returning to standard use.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Check door gasket/seal, hinges, lock/handle and ensure unit remains level.
• Quarterly: Clean interior and exterior surfaces; verify airflow paths and monitoring/alarm function if equipped.
• Periodically: Review any stored temperature logs (if system supports logging), confirm calibration certificates if used in regulated environments, and maintain service/maintenance records for audit compliance.
