Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the VT65?
1. Place the freezer on a firm, level indoor surface in a climate-controlled room.
2. Allow clearance behind and above for ventilation, with at least 115 cm front space for door operation.
3. Connect the unit to a grounded electrical outlet appropriate for its rated voltage.
4. Power on and set the thermostat to –20 °C to –30 °C. Wait 4–6 hours for internal stabilization before loading sensitive materials.
What best practices should I follow when using this freezer?
• Store materials in drawers to maintain uniform cold airflow.
• Avoid over-packing to prevent blocked ventilation.
• Label and rotate contents using first-in/first-out (FIFO) methods.
• Keep the door closed as much as possible to maintain temperature stability.
• Regularly check gasket seals and clean surfaces.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If the temperature exceeds or drops below the target range or power is lost:
• Record the event (date, time, temperature, affected materials).
• Move contents to a validated backup freezer.
• Identify the cause (door left open, power issue, sensor failure).
• Once the temperature stabilizes, inspect stored materials before resuming normal use.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Check gasket seals, hinges, and lock function.
• Quarterly: Clean the interior and verify alarm and thermostat accuracy.
• Periodically: Review temperature logs and confirm monitoring equipment calibration. Keep maintenance records for compliance.
