Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical lead time is approximately 5–7 business days when the unit is in stock.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is available. For Melbourne delivery, consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance, and GST
• Site access: confirm corridors and doors allow ~131 cm width × 69 cm depth, with full lid clearance
• Electrical compatibility: U.S. model rated 115 V AC / 60 Hz — for Australia (230 V / 50 Hz), order the export variant or use a certified transformer installed by a licensed electrician
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
Ships palletized and boxed; unpacked footprint: ~85 cm H × 131 cm W × 69 cm D. Ensure the delivery path is level, firm, and unobstructed from vehicle to final site.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or delayed?
Inspect packaging and unit on arrival. If any damage is visible: photograph it, retain the packaging, note on delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with order details to initiate a freight claim or arrange a replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the EL31LT?
1. Place the unit on a firm, level surface in a climate-controlled room.
2. Ensure sufficient clearance behind, above, and in front for ventilation and lid movement.
3. Connect to a grounded outlet matching the rated voltage.
4. Power on the freezer, set the digital thermostat to −45 °C or desired level, and allow several hours for full temperature stabilization before loading sensitive materials.
What best practices should I follow when using this chest freezer?
• Arrange contents to maintain airflow; avoid over-packing.
• Clearly label stored items with date and batch number; follow first-in/first-out (FIFO) rotation.
• Limit lid openings to maintain stable temperatures.
• Regularly inspect the gasket, hinges, and locks; ensure unit remains level.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or power interruption occurs?
If temperature deviates or power fails:
• Record the date/time, deviation, and affected materials.
• Move critical contents to validated backup storage until stable operation resumes.
• Identify cause (lid open too long, ambient load, power/sensor fault).
• Verify temperatures are within range before resuming use.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Check gasket, hinges, and locks; verify level alignment.
• Quarterly: Clean interior/exterior surfaces and verify thermostat accuracy.
• Periodically: Review temperature logs (if applicable), confirm calibration of monitoring probes, and document all maintenance actions for compliance.
