Summit General Purpose Refrigerator Freezer Description:
Accucold’s general purpose refrigeration series offers cold storage solutions to meet a variety of facility needs.
The Summit AGP34RFLCALADA General Purpose Refrigerator Freezer is a two-door freestanding refrigerator-freezer in a slim 19 inch footprint, ideal for offices and institutions with limited floor space. The cabinet is 32 5/8″ high, with an additional 1/8″ hinge cover for use in ADA compliant applications with lower counter height requirements. A factory-installed lock secures both sections with a user-set combination, with two keys included to override the combination if needed. The lower refrigerator compartment is designed to operate between 2 and 8ºC, with a digital thermostat that allows you to control the temperature without opening the door. We include an alarm/thermometer that users can easily install to monitor the refrigerator temperature. This temperature monitoring device is calibrated to NIST standards in our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certified calibration laboratory and ships with a 2-year certificate for your records. The thermometer displays the current and high/low temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree in a readout switchable from Celsius to Fahrenheit. The temperature probe is encased in a glycol-filled bottle to help simulate the temperature of stored materials, rather than the refrigerator air temperature. An audible alarm warns if the unit has gone out of the recommended range.
Inside the refrigerator section, the Summit AGP34RFLCALADA General Purpose Refrigerator Freezer features fan-forced cooling to for even temperature distribution, with adjustable wire shelves to help promote proper circulation. Door racks are included to hold non-temperature sensitive items. The refrigerator utilizes automatic defrost to reduce user maintenance, while the upper freezer compartment comes with a static manual defrost system. The freezer also includes door storage. It is best suited for storing ice packs and other items without strict temperature requirements. (NOTE: the freezer temperature is based off the refrigerator setting and cannot be adjusted independently.) Additional features include a user-reversible door swing, sealed back for easier cleaning, and interior refrigerator light.

Product FAQ
What is the AGP34RFLCALADA and what is it used for?
The AGP34RFLCALADA is a 19″-wide, ADA-height, two-door refrigerator-freezer combo designed for general-purpose cold storage in space-constrained healthcare, office or laboratory support spaces. It features a lower refrigerated section (2-8 °C) and an upper freezer compartment (static cooling) ideal for ice-packs or less temperature-sensitive items.
What are the key technical specifications?
• Capacity: ~3.2 cu ft (~91 L)
• Dimensions: Height approx. 83 cm (32.63″); Width 48 cm (19″); Depth 50 cm (19.75″); door-open depth approx. 93 cm (36.75″)
• Temperature range: Refrigerator section 2-8 °C (freezer self-adjusts)
• Electrical: 115 V AC / 60 Hz; ~1.1 Amps
• Lock & monitoring: Factory-installed combination lock, NIST-calibrated external temperature readout, alarm/thermometer included.

Shipping FAQ
How long does shipping take after placing an order?
Typical dispatch when in stock is 7–10 days, with transit time depending on your location.
Is international shipping available and what should I consider for Melbourne, Australia?
Yes — international shipping is feasible. For delivery to Melbourne consider:
• Import duties, customs clearance & Goods & Services Tax (GST)
• Entry/doorway and elevator/corridor clearance and floor-load capacity for palletized freight
• Electrical compatibility: This model is 115 V AC/60 Hz (US spec) — for installation in Australia (230 V/50 Hz) you must order the correct variant or use an appropriate transformer and verify plug/voltage-compliance.
How is the unit packaged for transit and what site requirements should be met?
The unit ships palletized with protective packaging. Approx. unpacked footprint: ~83 cm H × ~48 cm W × ~50 cm D; allow ~93 cm depth clearance for door-opening. Delivery site should have a firm, level surface and adequate entry clearance plus handling equipment if required.
What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged or is delayed?
On delivery inspect the packaging and unit for visible damage or delayed arrival. If damage is found: photograph condition, retain packaging and delivery receipt, and contact your supplier with your order/tracking details to initiate a claim or replacement.
Application FAQ
How do I install and set up the AGP34RFLCALADA?
1. Place the unit upright in a climate-controlled indoor space on a firm, level floor; allow clearance behind and above for ventilation—and ensure the door can fully open (approx. 93 cm clearance).
2. Connect to a dedicated grounded outlet matching 115 V AC/60 Hz (or correct variant if in another region). For Australia, confirm correct voltage/variant.
3. Power on the unit and set the digital thermostat (for the fridge section) to your target (2–8 °C), then allow several hours for internal temperature to stabilize before loading sensitive items.
4. Verify that the lock works, the NIST thermometer/readout is functioning, interior light works, and the shelving is arranged with unobstructed airflow.
What best practices should I follow when using this unit for storage?
• Load items with labeling (date, contents) for traceability.
• Avoid over-packing—maintain space around shelving for airflow.
• Minimize door-open time and ensure it is fully closed after use to maintain stable temperature in the fridge section.
• Periodically check the door gasket/seal and interior for cleanliness and inspect that alarm/thermometer indicates proper temperature range.
What should I do if a temperature excursion or failure occurs?
If internal temperature rises above or falls below required range or there’s a power interruption:
• Record event date/time, observed temperature, impacted contents.
• Relocate critical contents to validated backup storage if needed.
• Investigate cause: door left open, ambient heat, sensor/power issue.
• Once the unit returns to operating temperature and stabilizes, verify contents before returning them to storage.
What maintenance and verification routines are recommended?
• Monthly: Inspect door gasket/seal, hinges/handle/lock and ensure unit remains level.
• Quarterly: Clean condenser (if accessible), verify fan is working, remove dust/obstructions from ventilation.
• Periodically: Test the alarm/thermometer device, review temperature logs, and maintain service/calibration records as required by your facility.
